Privacy policy

Version June 2026

What we hold

Your account details (name, email, role, company), the operational records you create — inventory, purchase orders, shipments, insurance policies and claims, finance applications and loans, scheme claims, payments — and technical data such as IP address and browser for security logging.

Why we hold it

To run the features you use, to let the counterparties you deal with (carriers, insurers, lenders, scheme officers) do their part of the transaction, to meet financial and insurance record-keeping duties, and to keep the platform secure.

Who can see what

Other members see only what your privacy settings allow. Insurers see the risk you ask them to cover. Lenders see your application — your financial details stay redacted until you accept their terms. Government scheme officers see the claims made against their own schemes. Nobody sees another institution's book.

Sensitive fields

Bank and UPI details, licence numbers and applicant financials are masked by default. Every reveal is written to the audit trail with who looked and when.

Payments

Card payments run through Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

Your rights

You can export everything we hold on you as a single file, change what others can see, and ask us to delete your account. Deletion is held for 30 days so nothing is lost by accident, then the account is erased. Records the law requires us to keep — such as a paid invoice or a settled claim — are retained in anonymised form.

Keeping it safe

Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Sign-in can require a 6-digit emailed code. You can see every signed-in device and sign them out. Changing your password signs out everything.

Contact

Use the in-app support route or reply to any email we send you and it reaches the account owner.
