Autumn / Winter season
Place AW orders Feb–Apr; insulated jackets, thermal base layers, fleece linings, waterproofs and lined gloves sell from September.
Autumn/Winter demand will centre on protection from cold and wet conditions, with site workers, outdoor trades and warehouse staff driving the bulk of volume. Buyers placing orders now in the February–April window need to commit to insulated and waterproof lines before availability tightens ahead of the September sell-in.
- · Insulated jackets: stock more, as this is typically the highest-volume AW workwear line and lead times from manufacture mean late orders risk shortfalls when demand spikes in September.
- · Thermal base layers: stock more, as cold-working environments across construction, logistics and outdoor trades create consistent repeat demand throughout the season.
- · Waterproofs (jackets and trousers): stock more, as wet autumn conditions make these essential PPE for outdoor workers and they sell steadily from September through to February.
- · Lined gloves: stock a measured quantity rather than going heavy, as sizing complexity and the risk of overstocking slower sizes makes a broad but moderate range more sensible than large depth on any single SKU.
