Shrink Watch

The theft nobody catches, forecast before it happens

Hardly any shop theft is caught in the act. It shows up weeks later as a gap between what the till sold and what is actually on the shelf, and by then the money is gone. Shrink Watch reads three things you already have — the stock count against till sales, what staff notice missing, and shelf-gap photos from a phone walk-round — and turns them into a forecast: which lines are most likely to walk next week, out of which aisle and at which hour, roughly what the month ahead will cost, and which aisles and hours nobody is covering. Then it ranks what to do about it, alerts you the moment a line starts moving faster than its own normal, and afterwards proves whether the fix worked. Any country, in that country's currency. Pictures redrawn by AI every 24 hours.

The AI camera watch, honestly described

Point it at your existing CCTV or a webcam and it keeps a regular watch for unpaid goods leaving the floor: items on the bottom rack of a trolley, goods pushed inside other packaging or loose in a bag, empty packaging left on a shelf, a loaded trolley heading away from the tills. Any flag goes straight to the owner, the managers and the loss-prevention team, with the frame attached, so somebody can walk over and look. What it does not do, by design: it does not stream live video, it does not recognise faces, and it never identifies, describes or accuses a person — staff or customer. Every flag ends in a human decision, and whether it was paid for or not is a person's call, never the machine's.
